Cloud Computing is a term with the current word with the people who claim that it is the future trend. The theory behind cloud computing is that individuals and businesses should not be limited by the application on their workstation. Applications, services and utilities necessary for the realization of your work can not be accepted in the “Cloud” or by a particular vendor of your choice. You just need to connect to this service through an Internet connection and a browser to access it from anywhere.
You may not know, but you already part of the generation of cloud computing if you have an online subscription e-mail, the one you access from the net and is not installed on your desktop. Part of what Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. You can access your account from anywhere there is internet connection and browser, right? These are the most basic types of cloud computing there.
If you can imagine the consequences of this kind will have access to your business, you will be staggered. See, now you are dependent on application software to be installed on each workstation of each employee in your organization. What this means is that you have to pay for software or a software license for each workstation. If you are using cloud services to host your application, you just need a host application with the service provider and your employees can simply log in and use of services wherever they are.
